I selected the hotel because of the closeness to O'Hara. It also provide 24 hour shuttle service to the aiport. This was important because we needed to get up at 3:30am to catch the 4:00am shuttle. As soon as we got to our room, around 9pm, we went to bed. There was an Armenian Convention at the hotel. The room next door was extremely loud. They raised the music and then proceeded to talk over the music. The pattern continue. It got so loud that the front desk could hear them as I held the phone away from my ear. It took "4" calls to the front desk for someone to even go to the room next door to have them quiet down. On the "4" call I asked for the manager. The people in the room agreed to be quiet and left the room only to come back later. This time they were yelling and screaming in the hall. They had tried to find out who complained. We did not get any sleep. They should have moved us. When we checked in, I requested a room away from those attending the convention. I will not stay at this hotel again. I blame the hotel for not handling the situation better.

We stayed here one night and wish we could have stayed longer. The hotel was beautiful, room was exqusite, staff was above and beyond helpful. I cannot say anything negative except parking rates were a bit high considering we HAD to pay to park our car.

This hotel was great, location was near railways so you can pretty much go anywhere you need to. The room was beautiful, and the bathroom was amazing. I would reccomend this place to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

Beautiful hotel with all the all the glamour. The staff was very friendly and our overall stay was very nice. I was upset with the nightly high priced parking fee. Unfortunately there is no where to park surrounding the hotel, so you dont have a choice but to use the "provided" parking garage. This added fee was not mentioned until I was handed my room key.

This hotel is pretty cool, and very modern.. The room are comfortable and spacious.. The bathroom was awesome, the shower is top notch.

I had hoped that there would be access to the forest preserve for exercise, but apparently not. So, aside from being near to the airport, there's not much else to say for this location. But the hotel itself is quite nice.

The weekend rates was amazingly low, an outstanding value. Comfort was marginally compromised by the high level of style, much like a W hotel

I was very impressed. The customer service was first-class, and the room was comfortable and clean.

When all the restuarants are completed it will be very hard to beat.

My room was immaculate, very stylish and sophisticated. It just wasn't that comfortable or easy to be in. Too many hard surfaces (wooden ottomans), halogen lights (too harsh - give many people headaches) and a bathroom that was great to look at, but difficult to use (not enough flat surfaces - mirror was deeply inset with a pedestal sink in front -- too much distance, especially without glasses). Overall, beautiful, but not comfortable.

hotel is brand new just opened really close to major attractions. near major airport. hotel staff very friendly and helpful. room blew us away in quality if i have a chance to stay there again i most definetly will.

This hotel is very nice, especially for the price. It is modern, clean, and has great facilities (fitness room is great). They have a bunch of art right inside of the hotel! But in the anemities it lists parking and continental breakfast. They do have both of these things, but they cost money and they aren't cheap.

Conveniently located near ORD, great rooms and excellent staff. Everything you need in a hotel and more is provided at this facility.

We had very short one night stay. We arrived hotel at midnight but the room was very modern and furniture looked all new. The bed was extremely comfortable. Excellent location next to Gibson's steakhouse and very close to O'Hare airport. They have a free shuttle to the airport.

Beautiful accommodations with lots of good art work in the public areas. Convenient location to several good restaurants and shopping areas. Didn't like paying for parking, but, compared to prices of other area hotels, it was comparable.

Every thing was perfect, they staff, rooms etc. They could lower the price of food and drinks a little.

This hotel is beautiful! My room was fantastic, and their 24-hour shuttle to the airport made things a breeze when my 4am trip to the airport came around. The one con to this hotel is the prices in the hotel shop. I felt like I was staying in Hawaii or another resort when I needed nail polish remover. I went into their shop, and they were charging $4 for a bottel 1/4 the size of a regular bottle...ridiculous. Other than that, it was a lovely stay.

There is nothing negative to say about this hotel. I would give preference to Intercontinental over any other hotel.

We arrived a couple of days after this hotel opened for business. The decor was everything we expected from an Intercontinental name (we've stayed at the one in Downtown Chicago and in Boston). The service was rough around the edges: they forgot to service our room (beds were unmade, linens not replaced, trash not removed, etc), they stated in their in-room information binder that they provide bathrobes, but they did not (and we were told they wouldn't), the front desk staff was very obviously trying to get their bearings with the new computers (they looked bewildered every time we saw them in the lobby)and our key card didn't work the second day. There was also constant drilling in our area of the hotel during parts of the day, and we could hear what sounded like someone's television in the evening. Also, out of the three restaurant options advertised, only one of them (McCormick and Schmick's) was open. And boy was service slow!! On the positive side, we ordered breakfast to be served in the room and the service was excellent, as was the food. Good portions, presentation, and quality. Then again, it cost us over $100 for 2 adults and 2 kids! All in all, our stay was below my standards, even all things considered. I expected that with a name like Intercontinental, they would be able to handle business right away. They were definintely off to a rough start, but I expect that in time, they will be able to serve their customers well.
