We LOVED our stay at the Aragona! My mom, and daughter (3 generations) all love the Aragona! It has an excellent location and the hotel is beautifully decorated and updated too. The rooms are new and fresh and large! The bathrooms are gorgeous with mediteranean blue tiles, which is the theme throughout the beautiful building. Our room had a double shower and beautiful balcony overlooking the port. We loved the breakfasts too with both hot and cold choices for the main entre with fruit, pasteries, custards, yogurt... so much to choose from and all fresh and delicious. The manager and his staff are outstanding; helpful in everyway and so friendly. They are so welcoming and willing to help in any way they can! There is a free computer in the lobby to check in with back home and a beautiful pool at the very top of the building with gorgeous views of Ischia. The first night we arrived, we walked out the front door and took a few steps around the corner, and was delightfully surprised by the beautiful little town before us. Cobblestone streets, lots of restaurants and shopping too...right behind the hotel! Also, for even more convenience we were down the street from the bus stops and taxia nd when it was time to go home we just rolled our luggage over to the port in 5 minutes! Our stay there was wonderful and we will come back and stay at the Aragona for sure! We recommend it with hundreds of stars and appreciate the staff and their kindness!

We really enjoyed our stay in Ischia at Aragona Palace and we can easily say it was one of the best holidays we ever had. When we arrived we received a very warm welcome and we were very pleased to find a very spacious and comfortable room. The hotel itself is very modern and every single area very very clean. There's an open air swimming pool on the roof with sun loungers and umbrellas which we really enjoyed on our relaxing days. The hotel location (next to the port and a 5 min stroll to the bus terminal) is ideal for exploring the island by bus and the mainland coast by boat. It's also very close to the town centre with lots of shops and restaurants, however the hotel area is quiet. We chose to stay halfboard and we were really pleased to discover that the food is truly excellent and the service impeccable (real value for money!). The only small downside of our stay was the initial difficulty to find a nearby beach that was not too crowded; however, thanks to the staff suggestion, we opted for the Maronti (south of the island) easily reachable by bus in 20-30 minutes, with a wonderful view of St Angelo's village and lots of characteristic local bar/restaurants. What we enjoyed most throughout our stay is the great sevice received by the excellent hotel staff, all and always very welcoming and helpful, together with the warm and the beauty of Ischia.

You can't fault this hotel. Ideal location right near the Porto, so easy to take a ferry to/from the island. Also, walking distance to all the shops and bars and the many wonderful restaurants. The hotel staff were all very friendly and accomodating and the service was very good.

Vi bodde under 8 nätter/dagar på detta utsökta hotel, del av vår smekmånad. Vi stortrivdes i vårt uppgraderade rum med balkong och utsikt över den lilla hamnen. Det finns en stor takterass med pool och solstolar med tillhörande fin utsikt över Ischia. Även frukostbuffen var väl tilltagen och fräsch. Det enda negativa var en man i personalen som vi titulerade 'den klassiska Italienska piccolon' som lämnade mkt att önska vad gäller service. Men utöver honom så var servicen i receptionen, restaurangen och av städarna i absolut toppklass! Vi återkommer troligen redan nästa år igen.

We had a very nice stay for a week at the hotel. The staff was most friendly and helpful. Location very close to the ferry and to restaurants. Not much noise. Great breakfast.

Ett oerhört trevligt och fräscht hotell. Rummen var svala och stora. Personalen väldigt tillmötesgående och talade engelska väl. Ett fantastiskt läge mitt i Ischia Porte, endast en minuts gångväg från båten. Runt hörnet ligger stora gågatan med affärer, Via De Roma, och runt andra hörnet, hamnen, med alla sina restauranger. Poolen, liten men väldigt fräsch, med en liten poolbar. Vill du hellre bada på stranden, är den en promendad på ca tre minuter. Middagsmaten provades aldrig men frukosten var bra. Nästan enbart inhemska turister. Kan rekomendera Aragaona, till alla.

Perfect location - close to the port, beach and cozy restaurants! Very friendly staff - always smiling and ready to help! This is our very first hotel which we would like to return to in the future!

Aragona Palace Hotel is one of the best hotels I´ve stayed in on Ischia. The hotel is in a beautiful location very close to the sea and only a short walk from the main street. The room (no 101) was clean and beautiful with a balcony overlooking the nice street and the sea. The staff was very service minded, helpful and friendly. When we arrived in our room, I nice bottle of Prosecco from the hotel manager was waiting for us. The hotel had a great buffet breakfast, and a beautiful terme with a huge treatment menu to choose from. You must book this hotel, you will NOT be disappointed!!
