The Beach Hotel - Brighton

The hotel is extremely well located, with a cheap secure park lot right in front of it. My room had a lovely balcony with views to the beach. Another good point was the well served breakfast, for what I'm used as 'English Breakfast' in hotels. But apart from that, what really pleased me about it was the helpfull crew. They were really outstanding. I would definitely come back there.

Ssdly the 1st room owned up tan unmade bed with towels and sheets from the revious user. The second room had a faulty shower head rendering it unuseable unless you were prepared to put up with it...... The 3rd room was even higher up than the previous 2, acccessed by narrow stairs not suited for a large bag or person. On the first night there was a fight between 2 females who had come back to the room of another guest, bringing a baby with them. After being evicted from the hotel thtey continued their 'discussion' on the pavement for a while longer. Unfortunately on another night the fire alarm went off.The member of staff approached had no idea about a fire drill. Guests sorted themselves out: an elderly lady being restrained from trying to use the lift and room occupants being woken up by other guests. No casualties and a false alarm but a somewhat disconcerting episode. I would not recommend this hotel, no matter how close it is to the Brighton Centre, the beach or the car park.

This hotel was a little run down and could do with a lick of paint but it was clean. Lift was outdated and was worried we amy get stuck in there, but all was fine. If you didn't take the lift and took the stairs from the 4th floor (like we did once and once only) then it was like going through a maze! Breakfast was nice. Would say good for couple of nights stay as cheap compared to other hotels around.

This hotel is old and in disrepair. If you are looking for a place to relax in the hotel this is NOT the place. If you want a cheap room with nice people near the beach and only need a place to sleep at night, this could be your place.

hotel looked great from outside, very old and historic. When inside decor was in need of some refirbishment. Room was big and very comfortable with a fantastic shower room. It was very clean and service was good.

pas déçu par cette hotel car prevenu par les evaluations , j'y retournerai sans hesiter Bonne situation geographique, accueil correct et en français, oui, oui grande chambre victorienne avec vue sur le parc, certe l'aspect general n'est pas brillant mais à coté de l'hotel pris à londres qui était de qualité superieure en prix et en etoile celui ci est un palace

Dirty, messy, confused. The room stank from fish and chips coming from the neighboring restaurant. Morning coffee brewed several hours before serving, served luke-warm.

Vi hadde lest på forhånd at dette hotellet var mer enn en smule nedslitt, men at servicen skulle være veldig bra. Begge deler viste seg å stemme. Heldigvis oppveide de ansattes hjelpsomhet og generelle serviceinstilling opp for slitte omgivelser. Rommet var bra, og badet var greit nok. Beliggenheten er topp, med nærhet til både strand og shopping

Dès la montée aux étages, taches sur la moquette, papier peint arraché, trous rebouchés au plâtre à peine taloché... Dans la chambre fauteuils élimés... Bonne surprise : la salle de bain nickel, neuve et clean, lit confortable et drap propres... Nous avions réservé 2 nuit et nous sommes demandés si nous n'allions trouver une chambre ailleurs... Finalement nous sommes restés. Petit dèj : bien, situation pratique pour la plage et le centre à 2 pas...

Hotel un peu vieillot mais bon accueil par une majorité des employés et magnifique cadre : vue sur la mer depuis la chambre et sur Regency square !! Ca rattrape tout !!

L'hotel est très bien situé dans le centre de Brighton près de la mer. Voyageant en janvier, il n'y avait pas beaucoup de monde dans l'hotel ce qui nous a permis de beneficier d'un surclassement. Je recommande cet hotel vivement, l'accueil et le petit dejeuner sont tres bon.
