Cadillac Hotel - Venecia

Overall, for Venice, this hotel is pretty good for the price. You're right on the strand, and the amenities are decent. It's true what reviews say though; there weren't any towels or cups, the room was dimly lit, parking was limited, and the neighborhood was questionable. However, based on the other hotels in Venice, Cadillac is probably your best bet.

This is a wonderful place to stay, right on the beach, in Venice...and don't pay attention to reviews about homeless or fringe people hanging about...this is Venice Beach, the atmosphere is the people, the funk, the art, the music, the joy of living...and the Cadillac is the perfect place to do it from...walk down the beach (to the right when you hit the "boardwalk" and rent a bike, ride all the way up past Santa Monica Pier to the Will Rodgers State Beach...one of the most glorious bike rides of my life. Bottom line: I love this place, I love Venice, I love California, and can't wait to come back.

If you're looking to spend some time on Venice Beach, you can't beat the Cadillac for being right on the boardwalk AND affordable!

Staff is great, easy access to the beach and the rooms were clean. The only draw back is... theres no AC.

If you want to be right on Venice Beach, which is noisy and full of people, than it's fine. The photos on their website and their price make it out to be a fancy boutique hotel which it is not. So, if your expectations are on the lower side and you want to be right on the beach and that's most important, than you'll be fine staying there.

Nice location being that it is right on the beach. However, be prepared to pay an additional $15 for parking. There is no free wi-Fi or continental breakfast. Also, the rooms are fairly small.

The only issue I had with the hotel was the fact that the towels were dirty. Besides for that it was in a great location with views of the sea and convenient to a lot of restaurants. The room was also otherwise, clean.

Great location, it can get a bit noisy from the crowds. Housekeeper forgot to leave us fresh towels. A bit stinky at the entrance, like pee smells. They should at least wash the front door. Parking is limited.

The parking leaves a lot to be desired.

We stayed at this Hotel 3 or 4 years ago. The web site said it had just been renovated, it had not. We had 2 rooms, one did not have a face cloth or bottom sheets on the bed. We just went back a few days ago due to location...it can't be beat. We were Pleasantly suprised to find this time it HAD been renovated. They did a great job, the bathroom tile was all new with up graded fixtures & a glass door for the shower. It had a great new ceiling fan with a dimmer for the light. It was also nice to have a refridgerator in the rooms.

It was nice to be on Venice Beach although. We did nice feel safe at night. We arrive around 10pm and there was drug deals going on at the corner. The room was okay but the halls and lobby were dirty and the carpet stained. So, not worth the money. Not responsive to a few phone calls. We will not stay there again.

I can't believed what we paid to stay on the beach. If you love Venice and know what to expect stay here everything you want to do is in walking distance S. M. Pier , starbucks as well as dozens of boardwalk retaurants cafes and bars.

This is a fairly new hotel that has has not yet built a restarurent . There are a lot of place close by to eat so this is not a problem. This hotel has minimum amentities but this is not a problem because there plenty locatd nearby.

nice old property, great beach location, bad street access and limited parking which required parking 2 blocks away on the street and getting up to move car before 8am. noisy drunks from bar across street and some homeless people but walking distance to golds gym and a short drive to Santa Monica. Desk people were nice. the boardwalk was great on sunday

The room and bathroom was clean and well maintained.

Simple place right at the beach.Old neighborhood Cozy room, great views from roof, outstanding restaurant right across the street. Good breakfast caddi-corner at the beach, area of Venice Beach is known as 'Venice Beach Free Speech Zone'. We will go back.

The clerks at the desk were very friendly, the rooms were minimal but that's all we needed. The neighborhood was a little shady but the rooms weren't bad, just wish they could have had more pillows on the bed. The shower was nice, the big windows were great, could open them up and sit in the window and see the ocean, and watched the homeless people get in fights and arrested but overall was a fun/interesting experience.

Of you like venice beach and you want a decent places to stay. This is the place. Right on the boardwalk. Life and music everywhere. We enjoyed it a lot. Even in the wintertime.

A newly renovated, nice hotel with a helpfull staff! We were very satisfied with the hotel and will definately stay here the next time we visit LA.

The hotel and room itself was very nice. The area around the hotel was very sketchy. Lots of homeless people and we even saw a bum fight just outside the hotel. Scary stuff...

The hotel was on remodeling so lobby was dirty n dark but the room was pretty clean n comfortable. Around there, lots of homeless ppl n drunken ppl during not only at night but aslo daylight, which was somewhat threatening for me who traveled by myself so won't remcommend for female travelers. In spite of the really nice room I stayed, the price was so expensive compared to the conditions.

loin du centre du strip, à l'extremite Les chambres manoir sont à l'écart du casino il faut traverser une rue et les batiments n'ont aucun caractere. le cadre n'est pas à la hauteur de ce que j'attendais d'un hotel à Las Vegas... les chambres sont grandes confort standard.

A due passi da Venice Beach...praticamente fuori dalla porta dell'hotel...

Bra beliggenhet på venice beach. Prøv også cafeen på hjørnet for en frokost, lunch eller middag. Bra sted.

Completamente ristrutturato, è un hotel in posizione strategica, sulla spiaggia e con tutta una serie di esercizi commerciali e servizi nelle immediate vicinanze.
