Hotel Palazzo Zichy - Budapest

Nice hotel with an great breakfast which includes eggs,juices,sausages,bacon,many types of bread,fresh fruits,etc. Many places to eat dinner on Raday St. Location of hotel is walkable to the metro stops, bus stop and also to Central market for shopping for food and souvenirs. Personell are very helpful. If traveling within the city limits using public transportation, be sure to buy the 3 Day Travel Card (Turistajegy) not the 3 Day Budapest Card. You would have to see a lot of paid sights to make the Budapest card worth while.

Very nice four-star hotel in a central location in Budapest. It's recently been refurbished, so everything is very clean and pleasant. The decor is modern with a touch of classic. Full breakfast buffet included as well.

the hotel and rooms are spotless,all the staff are friendly and efficient.the breakfast buffet is varied and plentiful.all of budapest is walkable from the hotel if you are ok on your feet.plenty of bars and restaurants nearby.all in all a very enjoyable stay.

If you love sleek, modern, and minimal---- Pallazo Zichy is for you. The staff was extremely helpful, the lobby and waiting area contemporary and chic. Coffee, water, snacks available til the bar opens at 5:00pm. Breakfast room is contemporary cool with a delicious and substantial array of food. Although room itself was on the small size, the detail, and sleek decor compensated for this. Highly recommend Palazzo Zichy--near the trams, good area to walk around, great value. One of the nicer hotels As a very seasoned traveler, this was one of the nicer hotels I have ever stayed at.

We stayed for four nights at the Palazzo Zichy in May 2009 purely based on other reviews from various websites and were so impressed. Wonderfully situated, with a lovely little square across the road with a church and small quiet bar with outside tables. The inside of the hotel was immaculate and had some lovely individual touches. The room was extremely attractive and comfortable and the bathroom was very stylish with a lovely shower. Breakfast was superb too, with plenty of hot dishes, cold cuts, cheeses, fresh fruit salad, yoghurts, cereals and fresh pastries and croissants. I cannot fault this hotel and would recommend it to anyone.

Everything about the styling, service, comfort, and location of this hotel is great. Nothing is missed in the details of this hotel. The breakfast was great as well. Our expectations were far exceeded and would (already have) recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great relaxing location or for a romantic get-a-way. This hotel has everything. The sauna was very nice as was the relaxation area. Like I said, no details were missed. We're very much looking forward to staying here again in the future.

Je conseille vivement cet hôtel très chaleureux, bien placé près de deux petites places avec des restaurants. Metro et tram sont proches. Ancien palais transformé en hôtel : le moderne et l'ancien s'associent très bien. Hôtel très propre, personnel très gentil.

Fantastisk hotel, flot værelse, lækker stor morgenbuffe, betjening i top og en rigtig god beliggenhed.

contrairement à certains commentaires, nous trouvions l'hôtel bien situé; il est possible de visiter la ville à pied (le musée est assez proche, la synagoge à environs 15min). Les chambres sont à déco contemporaine et tout est neuf , lits confortables. Le staff (acueil et au pt déj) est très aimable et est tjrs prêt à donner des renseignements; le petit déjeuner est si bien que nous ne le rations en aucun cas (goûtez le chocolat chaud si vous l'aimez sucré!); l'après-midi on a du thé/café et eau à disposition dans un genre salon prêt de la réception. Pas eu le temps de checker le sauna, mais il paraît qu'il y a des fruits à disposition. Au prochain passage à Budapest on y retournera sans aucun doute!

un accueil chaleureux et courtois, des chambres modernes et confortables, un sauna fabuleux, des petits déjeuners variés et de très bonne qualité... Un mélange de moderne et de classique où le décor design se conjugue avec une ambiance d'époque. Très bien placé pour visiter les deux rives du Danube.
