Location. The Rheingold Hotel Pension is located in the Charlottenburg area of Berlin, Germany, 200 metres from Adenauerplatz metro station and the designer shops, bars and restaurants of Kurfurstendamm boulevard. Berlin Zoo is two kilometres from the hotel, and Berlin-Tegel Airport is seven kilometres away.
Hotel Features. The Rheingold Hotel Pension occupies an early-20th-century German townhouse. The high-ceilinged lobby is characterised by marble floors, wood panelling, and Art Deco windows. Amenities include high-speed Internet access and a safe- deposit box.

The Rheingold Hotel Pension provides a complimentary continental breakfast each morning. The local area offers several restaurants.

Guestrooms. The 20 guestrooms, accessible by elevator, are characterised by warm tones and feature modern wooden furnishings. All include cable television, high-speed Internet ports, and telephones. White-tiled bathrooms offer showers.

Expert Tip. Berlin's Zoologischer Garten, two kilometres away, is home to more than 15,000 animals. And dates back to the 18th century. Bus number 100 links most of the major sights in the city, including the Zoo and the Brandenburg Gate, and a day ticket allows travellers to hop on and off.

Distance to Rheingold Hotel Pension is seven kilometres, approximately 20 minutes' drive.

Getting there. Taxis are available in front of the terminal's lower level and cost about 15 EUR. The number 109 airbus runs to Adenauerplatz on the U7 underground line. The station is 200 metres from the hotel. All buses leave from the upper level. Tickets should be validated prior to boarding. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. The best way to get around Berlin is to use its public transport system (BVG). Travel on buses, trains, ferries and trams, as well as all U-Bahn (underground) and S-Bahn (over-ground) services, is covered by one ticket.
