"Avoid like the plague!"

We had booked this hotel with our 15 month old baby as it advertised as child friendly and with a kids play area. However, they do not tell you they cater exclusively for the Italian package market and all entertainment is devoted to them. Music at the pool blares from 10am in the morning and they refused to turn it down. We were told to go elsewhere if we wanted to relax. The kiddies play area is also located right beside the speakers so it is impossible for children to enjoyThe staff are completely rude and have no consideration or respect for anyone. They frequently shouted at us when we had problems or requested the manager. We were on the fourth floor and the lifts were often out of order. When I asked for help in getting the buggy down the stairs, I was told a flat 'no', that I would just have to wait until the lift was working again. There is absolutely no excuse for that sort of service! We also had issues with the noise at night, as did many other residents. Surprisingly, it wasn't all the younger clubbers but the inhouse entertainment blasting music until the wee hours. Again, they repeatedly refused to lower the volume. I would not reccommend this hotel to anybody as the staff just seem to thrive on making your holiday a misery. Many of the guests we met there felt the same way about the place. NEVER AGAIN!
